I’m not sure whether to be happy that I was introduced to this new fun and addicting game or not so happy. With the little time that I already have (or don’t have) I’m not finding time to do one more thing. Join my friends at Tail Towns for some country fun! Check out my new place!
It is still a work in progress but with my limited time I can only work on it a little at a time. Tail Towns is a game filled with planting, harvesting, producing, and making a once monopolized city thrive with your help. When you join Tail Towns on Facebook you will get a tour while you play. Each goal you accomplish will show you how the game works. It is easy to catch on too and very addicting. As the goals get harder to accomplish (more energy needed, more acorns, or help from your friends) you soon realize you are out of the tutorial stage.
As you play Tail Towns each goal will help you decorate your orchard. Your Decor score is what is measured to see who is in the lead. Some goals will have you planting fruit, vegetables, flowers, and grain. While others will have you using these resources to make juice, snacks, and special orders. You will also want to increase your reputation by helping your friends at their orchards. As your reputation increases you will earn permits to purchase additional land and increase the size of your orchard at Tail Towns.
So there is an additional feature to this fun new and addicting game Tail Towns. That is the figurines you can purchase that will give you a little extra boost. Here are a couple of my friends sitting here with me this evening.
This is Birthday Boy and Mother Henrietta. There are 12 figurines in all. Each figurine comes with special goals for you to complete and when you finish them all you receive a special gift. These special gifts really increase your Decor score.
You can purchase these Tail Towns Figurines in two ways. Either purchase the physical figurine (I’ve found them at Amazon.com) or you can purchase them virtual to receive the benefits. One of which is a large number of acorns.
While I love the game and enjoy playing with my Facebook friends there are a few things I’ve noticed or would change. You run out of energy very quick. Energy is replenish and each level up gives you the ability to store an extra energy. However if you are harvesting, selling, and producing you can go through all your energy in a matter of minutes. I think the energy level should be a little higher.
I also feel for some of the goals you really need the benefits of a figurine. Some of the items you need to purchase can be rather pricy. I currently need to purchase a Knoll or Hill and it is about 56K acorns which is quite a lot. I would also love to see you be able to do a little more at your friends orchard’s. Currently you can do 5 actions a day. I would love to see this replenished over a period of time so it is more then once a day. I think this would help keep you hooked on the game a little longer.
As my goals have become tougher to achieve, and I’m running out of space I play for a few minutes and come back in a few hours when there are times I would love to sit down and veg and just play a little.
I would love for you to join me on October 3rd (postponed 10/9) for an all day event of the Launch Event of Tail Towns. I’m excited to see if there are some fun events and additional game features I might be able to open up. I’ve invited tons of my friends but I’m always open to more. So join today and stop by tomorrow or on the 3rd to see what we have in store for the launch!
