Joe Shopping says the end is near. We may not make another year.
Some kooky fellows predicted the day. It wasn’t Joe Shopping’s idea they say.
December is a month for cheer. A month for smiles and not for fear.
But what if the predictions are true? What, oh what, oh what would I do?
A list, A list, I need a list! Of things to do while I exist!
A bucket list of things to do. I suggest you also make one too!
Five things before I expire. So I can win a Kindle Fire!
So here it goes I’ll give it a try. Five things to do before I die.
Traveling with my man. Has always been our plan.
Italy, Jamaica, and New York City. Lots of life and oh so busy.
This task is not very easy. I know this sounds kinda cheesy
If I knew the end was really here. I’d just want my family to be near.
I really have no last wishes. Just lots of love and lots of kisses!
No list of things I must get done. Before the day when there is none.
Don’t wait until the last day is near. To do the things that you hold dear.
Take the time you have today. To live, to love, to laugh and play!
This post serves as my entry to win a Kindle Fire at Joe Shopping where they have posted their own Bucket List. I don’t believe in a bucket list, I believe that you should enjoy each day fully and never look back and say I should have done this or that. Each experience we have makes us the person we are today. I of course have things I would love to do like travel with my husband, go to the beach and just relax, to lose weight, to run a marathon, to do things that are out of my comfort zone and enjoy a long life. However if I don’t do any of these things I would still be happy. I love my life, my family, and everything it offers me and I create. No bucket list for this woman it is all about the present!

Good luck and I hope you win it! Nice poem, too! I agree about the bucket list, I’ve also never made one…I just try to be happy and live life to the fullest every single day.

I agree, I don’t believe in bucket lists. Anything you want to do in life, do it! Don’t wait for that day in the future that might never come! =)

While I do find that I have some regrets in life, I don’t believe in having a bucket list, either. You either get do things, or you don’t. That’s how life works. You can feel remorse over things you may have missed out on, but you shouldn’t obsess and build a list of must-do things. If you’re always looking to a list, you may miss out on some equally great opportunity that wasn’t planned.
And good luck on the Kindle!

IF I had a Bucket List it would be to 1) say I love you to my family members every day, 2) get lots of family hugs, 3) attend family events, 4) support family members in their decisions, 5) not be a grinch

I agree. I don’t have a bucket list. I enjoy doing things with my family and we do them when we can.

I’ve always had a list of things I wanted to do before I die, of course the list is constantly changing because I am constantly growing and changing.
A Kindle Fire would sure help me reach the goal of 2000 books read in 2 years!!

I’m still not 100% sold on the idea of one of these. Everyone I know has one but I still prefer an old fashioned book.

Great poem and I absolutely love the last stanza – you summed it up perfectly!
