We have Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tumblr, and more but what is the one thing all of these social media outlets are missing? You can’t hear the people you are talking with. Everything is done with your keyboard, phone, or other device. Talk O’Clock has taken social media one step further by offering voice and features such as the social alarm service.
TalkO’clock enables people everywhere in the world to talk to each other, create new friendships and reconnect with old friends. We break down the walls of traditional social networks by connecting people who would never meet otherwise. Our unique approach is to use voice, person to person, rather than text because voice is the most impactful and personal real-time communication tool that exists.
Talk O’Clock is a free service offered in EVERY country! You can request a morning wake up call or a birthday surprise and meet someone new.
Why would I want a call from a person I don’t know?
The world is full of interesting people you haven’t met yet. Want to receive a surprise call on your birthday from someone in another country? Wish to hear a friendly voice to wake you up with a smile? Set up a call request, and be ready for a bit of adventure. You will get a boost of positive energy for the entire day, an emotional lift from connecting with a person who wants to make you feel special.
And, if you’re not ready to have a conversation with someone you don’t know, you can invite your old friends from Facebook.
This is definitely an innovative concept. I’m not so sure I’m ready to get a phone call from someone I don’t know but voice is the next logical step to social media. If you are worried about your phone number the privacy policy at Talk O’Clock says they will never hand out our phone number.
Neither you nor the people you talk to can see the other’s phone number. We create an anonymous phone number that protects the identity of each caller’s actual phone number. All phone connections are made anonymously and securely via our service. However, your voicemail may disclose the phone number to a caller. We recommend that you remove your phone number from your voice mail if you use our service.
Why not take that next step and give Talk O’Clock the voice-based social discovery a try!
