Both my oldest son and I are allergy suffers. As I have gotten a little older my allergies have actually gotten a little better. It is funny, I can tell by my sneeze if it is due to allergies or a cold. There is always one tale tell sign of allergies for me and that is watery eyes. Check out this Allergy Face Info-graphic and if you suffer from allergies I’m sure many of the statistics will ring true for you. I especially connected with the results of “being told you look like you are coming down with something”.
ZYRTEC®
ZYRTEC® is the #1 allergist recommended brand among OTC oral antihistamines. It provides fast* allergy relief of your worst allergy symptoms of sneezing, runny nose, itchy watery eyes, and itchy nose and throat, caused by indoor and outdoor allergy triggers such as dust, mold and pet dander, tree pollen, weeds and grasses. I get bad allergies when the pollen kicks up or if I’m around dogs and cats. My throat immediately starts to itch, my eyes water, and I sneeze constantly. I can often tell if a dog or cat has been in a room just by my symptoms!
If you suffer from Allergy Face, you know puffy eyes, watery eyes, and a red nose, then you will want to watch this video with some great tips for concealing your symptoms.

I have very mild allergies and I take bee pollen to help keep them that way. My good friend uses Zyrtec and it has helped her a lot.

I’ve never been able to tell the difference between a cold and allergies yet I can tell with others just by the eyes, well under the eyes which is why I totally agree with the big glasses.

This is really helpful! I hate it when my allergy symptoms are so obvious. I will take some of this advice.

I am fortunate that I don’t get allergy face, but I feel like I don’t breathe as well as I should. (I have heard that the area that I live in has been called the Valley of Sickness by Indians long ago.)

This is a great infographic. I think sunglasses are definitely a key when disguising allergy eyes. 🙂

We take Zyrtec for our allergies and it has helped a ton. We only get itchy eyes when the pollen level is super high. I like the tip about using a self tanner instead of your usual makeup.

I thankfully don’t suffer from seasonal allergies, but my husband and son both do. I have animal allergies though, which cause all the same problems.

This has been the worst year for my allergies. I started taking Zyrtec a few months ago and it really helps – just makes me super sleepy, though.

The only thing I’m allergic to are cats. Always have to take allergy medicine before going to my husband’s family’s homes. They all own cats.

I have horrible allergies. It usually takes me a little bit to realize if I have a cold just because I almost always have allergy symptoms so I just assume it’s that until I start getting the telltale sinus headache.

Seasonal allergies have always bothered me. I am also allergic to flea bites. When one bites me I can feel it at once, my skin gets itchy all over. I think the Zyrtec might help with both allergies.

I totally have allergy face! My eyes are so swollen and black.

I am horrible about throwing out makeup. I get stuff I like and then use it forever!!!

My hubby suffers from allergies but since he’s a dude he doesn’t get to cover it up like we do 🙁
