My husband and I are getting ready to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary this Friday. That may seem like a long time but I can only hope that it is a small portion of all the time we have remaining together. After 16 years I think we both respect, understand, and care for each other well. However one thing we definitely don’t do enough of is enjoy a date night.
We both work all day, and come home to take care of the house and kids and are both often tired. The weekends end up being either sports days or days to run errands and clean house. Our kids are old enough that we should be taking advantage of a built in baby sitter and plan a date night at least once a week. I know my husband would really appreciate it.
